«LA CITTÀ DEI BALOCCHI» AT VILLA ERBA BETWEEN LIGHTS AND MAGIC

Almost a week ago, the 29th edition of the City of Toys came to an end. This year it was held in the location of Villa Erba, in Cernobbio.

It was a magical atmosphere marked by the lights reflecting on Lake Como, by the stalls where one could taste local products as well as those from distant cultures, or where one could buy wooden objects and decorations for the holidays.

The event was also enlivened by shows in the specially prepared circus, animations on the trees in the park and on the tower of Villa Erba, the toy train, Santa's sleigh and many other attractions that made the year zero of the City of Toys in Cernobbio unforgettable.

The 200,000 visitors mark was surpassed and this record was celebrated by presenting a family from Castellanza, whose entrance allowed them to cross the finishing line, with a gift basket with toys for the girls and typical products directly from the stalls of the Christmas market.

For the mayor of the town on Lake Como, it was "a dream come true"; the first citizen hopes that this is only the beginning of a lasting project and an opportunity to network with other municipalities on the Lake for the 2023 festivities.
